Pumpkin Patch Part DOS...

Last Sunday we visited the actual pumpkin patch.  The girls took a hayride out to the field to pick their pumpkins.  They both had a blast!  We love this place because there are a ton of fun activities for the kiddos.  As promised here are more pictures....

Addison driving the tractor.

Addison not interested in roping the bull.

Alexis spotted the petting zoo.

Alexis wanted to touch EVERYTHING!!  Here she is petting a mini pony, while I sent Terry back to the car for the hand sanitizer.  Yes, I'm a germaphob!

In the corn maze.

This picture shows little Miss Alexis and her attitude.  She always puts her hands on her hips when she wants something.

Addison waiting for our turn on the hayride.

The girls thought the hay stacks were cool.

Alexis was adamant that she wanted to sit by herself.

Alexis in the petting zoo.  Addison didn't want any part of this, but Lex was chasing those things like crazy.

My favorite picture of the trip!

We originally started out with the girls in the wagon, but decided to leave it back in the car.  This was our first excursion without a stroller or a wagon and the girls did incredible.

The pumpkins the girls picked out.  We opted for less mess and no carving this year!

Pumpkin Patch Part UNO...

This weekend we visited two local pumpkin patches.  In an attempt to enjoy what we think is going to be the last nice weekend, we wanted to be outside as much as possible.  The first patch we visited is nothing more than a church parking lot with pumpkins on the grass.  We visit this local patch every year, since all the proceeds go to supporting a local food pantry.  I'm hoping to have the pictures from our trip to the "real" pumpkin patch and our hayride up later this week.  We took over 300 pictures between our two trips.  I had trouble picking out my favorites.  Here are a few of the best pictures:

Alexis always picked up the pumpkins that were a little off.

Addison liked the ones that weren't orange.

How can you not love this face?

Climbing on them was so much fun.  Not sure the owners appreciatted it much.

Addison wanted to get a baby one.

Failed attempt to get a picture of them both in the pumpkins.  Sadly, this is the best one I got.

The wagon ride was "super fun" according to Addison.

When we got home, we decided to take a walk around our neighborhood.  The fall colors this year seem to be amazingy vibrant.  Terry showed the girls how to play in the leaves....

Love this little Sassy Pants...

Another attempt at a photo of them both.

Addison trying to carry her loot.

The girls had so much fun playing in the leaves on Saturday that they had to do it again on Sunday.  Love this photo!!  I wish I could capture the giggles and sqeals of excitement.  I only wish I had a video of this.

Stay tuned for part two soon!!!

"Chalk" it up to One Fun Day!!!

This past weekend the four of us enjoyed some outside time.  It's been really cool here lately, so we were excited for a sunny and rain free day.

The girls were ecstatic to "draw" outside.  But now I'm now having a little trouble explaining to them the difference of why it's ok to draw on things outside but it's not ok to draw on anything other than a coloring book inside.

Addison helping to complete the elephant.
Alexis found a dandelion in the yard and was super excited about it.

Then she realized she could blow all the seeds off of it...

The finished elephant.  Created by Terry and Addison.

Alexis told me to draw a boat.  This was the best I could do.

Addison wanted a punk-in.  Her new obsession is with pumpkins.

Love these two photos!

Terry was super proud of his elephant that he made with Addison that he said it deserves two photos!

We all had a blast playing outside with chalk.
I've quickly learned that chalk is only to be played with on bath night.

The Apple doesn't fall far from the tree....

Just like thier Mommy, both the girls have major sweet tooth's.

They both were all smiles after enjoying some homemade chocolate pudding.  To say that it was a mess, is quite the understatement!!!
