Bird houses...

Two weeks ago, we took the girls to another Build and Grow event at Lowes.  Alexis was super excited to build her birdhouse.  Addison was more excited about being able to paint it rather than the actual construction of it.

I neglected to actually take any photos of the construction process, but here are a few of them painting their birdhouses.  Addison was so intense that she couldn't even look up for a photo.

Both girls decided that they wanted to paint them pink and purple.  I was a little shocked by this because usually everything Addison does is orange.

Love this little cheeseball.  Every photo lately is her giving a thumbs up.

Everything she does is so detailed.  She is always so focused.

Not sure why, but I only have a photo of one of the finished houses?

I'm the lucky one...

On Saturday we attended story time at the library as usual.  During craft time the girls made a paper plate leprechaun.  On the drive home, I was trying to feel out the girls and see how much they knew and what they had already learned at school regarding St. Paddy's day.  I asked them what a leprechaun does.  Addison said he looks for gold under the rainbows.  Alexis says he brings you good luck.  I then asked Alexis what luck is, she responds with "when good things happen to you and you have a good mommy who buys you donuts".  Not sure where she comes up with this stuff, but in my eyes, I'm the lucky one!

And of course, I had to include a photo of our annual "greening of the nails".  It's takes a little bit of time to paint 60 fingernails and toes!

Outside Dining...

Yesterday's weather was too incredible to do anything but be outside as long as possible.  We rode bikes, took a walk, chilled on the deck and ate dinner outside.  It's hard to believe that as I type this post it's currently 33 degrees and snowing like crazy.  Less than twelve hours ago we were playing outside without a jacket or a coat.

Alexis thinks Daddy should cook dinner on the stove (grill) outside everyday!  I have zero issues with that!!!

We also decided that it might be getting close to time to part with their little table.  Can't believe how fast they have outgrown it!
