February in the Park....
We've been having some unusually warm temperatures here in Indiana. No complaints from our end!! This past weekend we spent the majority of the time outside and at the park. Here are a few pictures from our adventures:

Alexis's Science Project 2017....
I could not be more proud of my little Peanut. Her teacher made science projects mandatory this year. Alexis decided that she was going to figure out how to make an avocado ripen more quickly. She loved avocados and hates waiting for them to get "ready to eat". We did some online research and she decided that this was what she wanted to do.
This is her original hypothesis....which proved to be false.
Alexis decided that she wanted to type up her findings..... I told her that if she wanted it typed that she would need to do it herself. She sat at our computer for close to three hours typing everything. Below is the work in progress.... My OCD is/was seriously kicking in because the cutting isn't straight and some things are crooked. But I just had to keep telling myself this isn't my project.
And here is her finished report... I don't know if she will win any awards, but I do know how hard she worked and how proud of her I am; that's all that matters!!!

January 1st, 2017.....
On the first of the year the weather was rather nice. Grandma and Grandpa had come to visit for the weekend. Grandpa took the girls out for a bike ride and they stopped at the park. Unfortunately, Addison took a little tumble and broke her two front teeth. Of course, these are permanent teeth already and not her baby teeth. She was a huge trooper through the whole process.
All fixed up. She was still under the influence of the gas and still really numbed up.
A few weeks later..... One of her teeth broke again. She was laying in bed and told me she was biting on her fingernails and her tooth chipped again. I called the dentist the next day and we were able to get her in right away. Because she knew what to expect, Addison was super nervous and very scared to go through the process again. The dentist brought in reinforcements..... Their office therapy dog, Pearly. This was a pretty amazing thing. Pearly sat right next to Addison during the whole process. He calmed her down and the dentist was able to fix her right up.

Playing Catch Up....
It's been so long since I've blogged I wonder if anyone is still reading? We've been a little busy around these parts and I sometimes tend to forget to document the moments I want to remember.
Game one.. . Addison on top, Peanut (aka Alexis) next, Mommy & Daddy on the bottom.
Game two.... Same lineup -- Alexis was so excited to hit 100 points.
Christmas Day 2016.... The girls got desks that they had been begging for, for their rooms.
The girls love going to Home Depot and Lowes for their kids clinics. This one was obviously at Home Depot. They are getting to the point where they need little, if any, help from us.
This post is going to be a little hodge podge of everything just trying to get caught up.
The next few pics are from our annual Christmas eve bowling tournament.....
