I'm a happily married Mommy of our two surviving triplet girls. After marrying my husband in March of 2006, we immediately knew that we wanted to start a family. After trying for several years with no luck, we decided to turn to the help of a fertility specialist. As luck would have it we got pregnant with our first IUI cycle using aggressive amounts of Follistim. Soon thereafter we learned that we were expecting triplets. Imagine our shock!! At 18 weeks we lost Baby Girl C, aka Baby Hope. We were distraught, but knowing that God has a plan for everything we continued on. At 27 weeks 6 days my water broke and I delivered my baby girls. Addison Grace weighing 1 pound 15 ounces and Alexis Faith weighing 2 pounds 2 ounces. The girls spent the first 12 weeks of their lives in the NICU (neonatal intensive care unit) of St. Vincent's Woman's Hospital in Indianapolis.
Addison Grace just 3 days old.
Alexis Faith on the third day of her precious life.
On June 21, 2009 God blessed us with the ability to bring Alexis home from the hospital and Addison on June 26, 2009. We continue our journey as parents to these two beautiful miracles and we praise God everyday for his blessings that he has bestowed among us.
